DR.A.SUYAMBULINGAM finished his M.B.B.S degree in the year 2004. He started his own clinic by the same year in Mylapore and has been practising from then to till now. Meanwhile he also completed the post graduate diplomas in diabetology and then family medicine in the years 2007 and 2010 along with continuing his general practice. By the year 2014 he completed his Masters degree in General surgery. Following which in 2014 he joined M.Ch in cardiovascular and thoracic surgery in MMC. He completed his M.ch degree by August,2017. He was continuing his clinic & visiting consultations. After that. he worked as junior consultant in the department of CVTS, Dhanalakshmi Srinivasan Superspeciality hospitals till 2020. He has performed several open heart surgeries individually besides assisting the senior consultants. He got relieved from there with the aim of starting his own hospital for which he was doing his preparatory works along with his practice and visiting consultations in other hospitals. He started his own hospital in the name of AVS cardiac center in Chennai on 24 February 2021. AVS cardiac center is a superspeciality hospital with intensive care unit loaded with various latest life saving equipments, cathlab and five operation theatres and trained staffs providing round the clock tertiary care in the fields of cardiology and cardiovascular and thoracic surgery performing various high end surgeries and interventional procedures serving several needy patients , now in 2025 AVS cardiac center has been name changed as ALVS Hospitals and upgraded with new equipments and infrastructures. Bed count increased above 70 beds . He was very much keen in establishing cardiac surgery units in peripheral areas and towns for the benefit of patients who have to travel to metropolitan cities with long waiting periods to undergo procedures. He was the keen factor to start the cardiac surgery unit in Tiruvannamalai in Arunai medical college last year with several open heart surgeries being successfully done within a short time and is pioneering as HOD, Department of cardiothoracic surgery over there. Fulfilling his aim another cardiac surgery unit has been formed recently in Peacock hospitals, Tiruttani. He has been awarded the most promising cardiothoracic surgeon of the year 2023 by Star achievers awards.
